Simple and Sweet

As soon as I found these images, I knew I wanted to put them on pillows.

Maybe it's my love of the television series "Mad Men"....I just love these 50's inspired silhouettes.

A quick and easy project that made me smile last night before I went to bed.

My Mom has always loved silhouettes and I find them very endearing.

I'm so glad they are enjoying a current popularity in decorating.

  1. Those are gorgeous! I love those silhouettes too! I'd love to know how you made them! I've used the iron sheets but they didn't look good - you could see the pieces of the plastic/glue part of it on some towels I made.

  2. Those look really cool.

    Happy WW!

  3. Cori - thanks for your comment on my blog! I will definitely check out that website, thank you! I have taken a booth at a mall but I would imagine it's better than the craft fair I did (it was the 13th). I sold a few things but they hadn't really advertised it and it wasn't a real "craft fair." There were guys selling gutter systems, Mary Kay, Avon, etc.

My advice to anyone considering doing a craft fair - make sure they specify HANDMADE crafts only. People were actually coming up to me and saying how my stuff was the only real craft stuff there. I won't make the same mistake again!

  4. OOOh ~ how pretty , love those pillows. Im going to jump over to your Etsy, looks like my kind of stuff! Happy WW!

  5. Very simple and sweet. Thanks for sharing with us today.

  6. All I can say is ...Darling! This is my first visit...I going to go read more now!

  7. I absolutely love these pillows. Put these in your Etsy shop. Great job!!!!

Who doesn't love to get a comment? I'd love to hear you stopped by.
