Happy Friday!

Just a quick post this morning before I hit the ground running…
I had to share this story with you guys….
A few months ago I stumbled upon a great blog- Time Worn Interiors.
The name caught my eye because we named a small collection of furniture re-dos “Time Worn”.  Well…as I was going through her fabulous blog with the most wonderful retail displays I found an enamel sign that I REALLY wanted
1021
Why, you ask?  Well..first of all, I LOVE enamel  number signs, but the most important reason is….
In a previous life I worked for a large law enforcement agency.  We used codes on the radio.
1021 was the code for “call or telephone”.  Like most people who use codes for their work, it seems to spill into your non-work life.
It’s not unusual for my husband and I to still say “10-21 me when you get there”.

So…I contacted Theresa at her blog and asked her if the sign was still available.
It was!  She took it down, sent me an invoice and shipped it to me.
So, don’t be afraid to ask if you see something in a blog retail space that you’d love to own.

Have a fabulous weekend friends and enjoy Super Bowl Sunday with those you love.

  1. Cori, I love the blog. I'm going text Ed "1021" and see if he responds.... He may not know that I know what it means... but it will be fun to try it. Paula

  4. Oh Cori, I was just with Theresa today! She is in the Nashville area this week doing a show - The Vintage Marketplace. We first met her last fall when she visited our booth at the Nashville Flea Market. She is super sweet! I just posted some pictures of her booth on our blog. Let us know when you plan that trip to Nashville!

  5. The clock looks like vintage. I really don't relate on the 1021.
