Make Up Girl

Hope you are having a great weekend. Thought I'd share this canvas I finished today. It's the newest in my "Girl" collection. A customer on Etsy contacted me. She is a make-up artist and wanted a canvas at her workstation.

I'm happy with the way it turned out. I also tried a new glaze tonight. It's the Benjamin Moore Metallic Glaze in Copper. I've been wanting to try it, but it's a bit pricey. I love the way it looks and can't wait to use it on the dress form I'm about to start. Although it's a bit responsive (ab out $35 for a quart), it will go a long way and I don't have to mix up my own glaze color.

Speaking of make-up, I discovered this website a bout a year ago. It's called MakeUp Geek. I absolutely love watching the video tutorials on makeup application. I've learned so many tips and tricks watching the beautiful host. Wish I'd had something like that about 35 years ago when I started wearing make-up. Check it out if you enjoy learning new make-up ideas.

  2. Cori, this is absolutely gorgeous! and my favorite art genre in the whole, whole, wide, wide world. My good friend Terry Parvan www.winifredstreet.com just started exhibiting her work and I'm just in awe. ~ Blessings, Janet
