A Most Magical Spot

It's hard to believe we have been back from California for over a week...where does the time go?

I wanted to share these photos of the Multnomah Falls. Diane and I stopped here with the kids on our drive home. The falls are located right off the Columbia Gorge which runs between Oregon and Washington.

We were so glad we took the time to pause here on our two day drive home.

Getting my kids to stand next to each other for a photo after "too much togetherness" of spring break was impossible! Gotta love sibling relationships.

We didn't make the climb up to the bridge on this stop since we were not dressed properly, but will make a point of doing it next time.

I couldn't help but think of the movie "Avatar" while we were here. It seemed as if the landscape in Avatar was all "make-believe"....but, after visiting this place, I think it may have been the inspiration for the landscape and scenery.

Hope your week is going well so far...Can't you just hear tyhe water rushing?

  1. Wow, simply beautiful! Looks like a great time.

  2. These are possible the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen!

  3. Ohmygoodness Cori, what a gorgeous place!!! I know you must have been in awe of it's beauty ~

I'll be sure to scan in the photo album mat that you requested, I should have already done that!!!

I hope you are doing wonderful sweet friend, hugs and love, Dawn

  4. What a great trip you had! We took a family trip back in 2005 traveling along the Columbia river and stopped at Multnomah Falls...we loved it!! We too didn't hike all the way to the top but mid way...it is so beautiful.

Who doesn't love to get a comment? I'd love to hear you stopped by.
