Frumpy To Fabulous

010

Here’s a couple of chairs we found at a thrift store a few weeks ago.

Looking kinda sad. Poor upholstery job.

Dated.

Most would have passed this pair up.

We didn’t. We took them home.

Here’s what they looked like today

I had to stage them in the house, rather than the garage.

I liked them so well in my great room, I have become a little attached.

What do you think?

Amazing what a little love, a simple paint technique, some new fabulous fabric upholstery and some upscaling can do.

Right?

It will be hard for me to move this pair out of my great room.

Another fun and fabulous transformation.

Hop over and take a look at all the great projects.

  3. Hi Cori,
I just adore you, I also love the state Of Washington...I lived in Seattle,Redmond, and the surrounding areas on the lake "Lake Washinton"
I so miss it there, what a place of beauty and inspiration.

I am without words to your comment on my footboard art. You are beyond kind and under estimate your talent in what you create around your Euro chic Villa style home.

The ladder back chairs have a new life and your gave them soul. I think we could paint together, it looks like your chairs would fit right in with my work, color and tones of paint.

Talent comes in so many features! like the passion you have added to the chairs and there perfect resting place in where you placed them. I could so see myself relaxing in your home and wanting to ruch home to tweek mine with what you inspired.

I am going to lower the price of the footborad on etsy do to another one I will be listing that I only painted one bird on it.

Cori, paint girl, paint from your heart remembering there are no mistakes in euro shabby flea market style, and the biggest mistakes will turn out to be a favored piece :)

    Blessings
