Simple and Sweet

As soon as I found these images, I knew I wanted to put them on pillows.

Maybe it's my love of the television series "Mad Men"....I just love these 50's inspired silhouettes.

A quick and easy project that made me smile last night before I went to bed.

My Mom has always loved silhouettes and I find them very endearing.

I'm so glad they are enjoying a current popularity in decorating.

  1. Those are gorgeous! I love those silhouettes too! I'd love to know how you made them! I've used the iron sheets but they didn't look good - you could see the pieces of the plastic/glue part of it on some towels I made.

  3. Cori - thanks for your comment on my blog! I will definitely check out that website, thank you! I have taken a booth at a mall but I would imagine it's better than the craft fair I did (it was the 13th). I sold a few things but they hadn't really advertised it and it wasn't a real "craft fair." There were guys selling gutter systems, Mary Kay, Avon, etc.

My advice to anyone considering doing a craft fair - make sure they specify HANDMADE crafts only. People were actually coming up to me and saying how my stuff was the only real craft stuff there. I won't make the same mistake again!
