Summer Romance

I know I haven’t posted for some time.
What can I say?  It’s been super busy around here.
I was able to snap a few photos of these projects that were actually fished a few weeks ago.
This is how she looked when we found her.
Quite a transformation…right?

These fun tables were just dark dated wood..
They were transformed with chalk paint and some great hand-painting and graphics.

Projects

005
Checking in after too long…
Things have been busy here.
Last week Diane and I hit the furniture pile in the garage pretty hard.
We completed over a dozen projects,  I wanted to share some of the with you before too much time slips away.
We turned some simple end tables into colorful pieces with some great license plates we found at a recent yard sale…
024
I put together this fun chalkboard using a piece of ugly art and some chalk board paint along with some fun feed sack burlap ribbon for trim..

We didn’t get a before photo of this dresser, but we love the way it turned out with it’s new “flag” design…

and here’s a couple of really boring white tables that really needed a MAJOR upcycle….
086
so we turned them into fun retro style benches.
Great….right?

and last, but not least, a fun sign that I made for my own kitchen.
The paint lifted a bit as we were working on it and it turned out to be one of those “mistakes” that you just end up loving…
It really looks old and worn.
